Leading Kolkata Club Tollygunge Agragami, struggled against Rising Students Club, Cuttack before registering a 7-6 win, via sudden death, in their hard-fought pre-quarterfinal match of the 10th All-India Knock-out Football Tournament at Sersa Stadium, Bondamunda, Rourkela today.
After a goalless first-half, Manoj Das helped Rising Students take the lead. Unfazed, the Kolkata outfit launched a series of attacks before man of the match Habibur Sheikh produced the equaliser in the 72nd minutes.
In the tie-breaker, both the sides scored five goals each to continue the stalemate. It was T Bannerjee who eventually netted the match-winner in the sudden death.
